Truly inspired dancers have etched through their very being a mix of the essential elements of technique, discipline, passion and the ability to communicate great things – to touch an audience.

With this philosophy, and the intention to provide dance as a holistic experience, the Vanessa Lee Dance Academy presents opportunities for live performance as often as possible. One of the highlights each year is a major performance at the IPAC. Along with valuable stage time, students gain first-hand experience of exactly what it’s like to perform on stage in a professional production. Friends and relatives are given a great show, and can see first-hand how students are progressing.

In keeping with the true dance company feel of the performance, Vanessa designs the costumes, and engages qualified dressmakers to make them. Students have the experience of performing in professional costumes, and parents are relieved of the stress and struggle of sewing up complicated pieces.
