Ellie Mitchell

Ellie began her journey as a dancer before transitioning into gymnastics. However, her time in gymnastics was short-lived as she soon discovered acrobatic gymnastics—a blend of both disciplines and so much more. Training at Oaks Flats Acrobatics, affectionately known as the “Cowshed,” taught her everything she knows and imparted invaluable life lessons that she hopes to pass on to future students.

Ellie has dedicated herself to acrobatic gymnastics, competing in the Australian National Acrobatic Championships twice and returning home with numerous medals and two national titles. In 2023, she had the honour of competing in Las Vegas as a Level 10 pair, where she proudly brought home a gold medal.

Since her retirement from competition, Ellie has continued to coach acrobatic gymnastics, driven by the goal of sharing her knowledge and experiences with the next generation.
